1. Materials covered
This license covers Systems Lab 01, Systems Lab 02, Systems Lab 03, and any other ToonSami Studios paid-class workbooks, templates, examples, checklists, recordings, downloads, presentation materials, instructor notes, and related instructional content provided to a student.
2. Permission granted
Enrollment grants the named student a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use the course materials for their own participation in the enrolled class. The student may download or print a personal working copy, customize the editable templates for their own use, and use the class to create their own workflows, protocols, and connected operating systems.
3. Student-created work
Students keep ownership of the original workflows, protocols, writing, artwork, music, prompts, systems, research, presentations, and other work they create. Students may discuss the concepts they learned and may use or share their completed work, provided they do not reproduce or distribute ToonSami Studios course materials, templates, examples, or answer materials.
4. Student project ownership and mutual anti-plagiarism protection
Each student retains all rights, title, and interest in their original student projects. Sharing a project in the private classroom grants ToonSami Studios only the limited permission necessary to display, store, discuss, and provide educational feedback on that project within the enrolled class. Enrollment, participation, feedback, or submission does not transfer ownership to ToonSami Studios, an instructor, a contractor, a moderator, or another student.
Neither ToonSami Studios nor any student may copy, reproduce, adapt, remix, publish, distribute, sell, license, register, claim authorship of, commercially exploit, or incorporate another student's protected work into another project without that student's prior written permission. Prohibited uses include:
- Copying distinctive language, artwork, music, characters, documents, prompts, protocols, or project structures.
- Presenting another student's work or contribution as one's own.
- Sharing screenshots, downloads, recordings, or project details outside the private classroom.
- Using student work in studio advertising, portfolios, demonstrations, case studies, course examples, social posts, or promotions without separate written consent.
- Entering student work into an AI system, training dataset, reference library, image generator, music generator, language model, or other automated tool without specific, informed written permission for the named use.
General ideas, facts, techniques, processes, and methods may not receive the same legal protection as original expression. Nevertheless, ToonSami Studios and class participants may not deliberately appropriate another student's confidential project concept, distinctive creative combination, or unpublished development materials. Students should mark sensitive materials “CONFIDENTIAL STUDENT PROJECT.”
Providing critique, instruction, suggestions, or technical assistance does not create co-ownership. Collaborative ownership exists only when the participants knowingly agree in writing to the responsibilities, credits, and ownership terms for a joint work. Silence, classroom participation, or posting inside the workspace does not constitute promotional or commercial consent.
ToonSami Studios will investigate credible reports of plagiarism, unauthorized copying, disclosure, or misuse. The studio may remove content, restrict workspace access, suspend or terminate enrollment, preserve relevant records, and notify the affected creator. These classroom remedies do not replace or restrict any legal rights available to the student. These obligations apply equally to students, instructors, contractors, moderators, and ToonSami Studios.
5. Uses that are not permitted
Unless ToonSami Studios gives prior written permission, a student may not:
- Copy, forward, upload, post, publish, or distribute the course materials in whole or in part.
- Provide the course materials or access credentials to anyone who is not an authorized student.
- Resell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise commercially distribute the course materials.
- Teach from, adapt into a competing course, or use the materials to train people who are not enrolled students.
- Remove or conceal copyright, license, attribution, or student-identification notices.
6. Access and enforcement
Course access belongs only to the enrolled student. Unauthorized sharing may result in suspended or terminated access and any other remedies available under applicable law. Ending access does not transfer ownership or remove restrictions on previously received course materials.
7. Educational scope
Course completion records finished ToonSami Studios coursework. It does not create a professional license, government credential, or external certification.
8. Written permission and questions
Requests to quote, reproduce, teach from, or otherwise use course material beyond this license must be approved in writing by ToonSami Studios. Contact info@toonsamistudios.com.
